We all know we wouldn’t be English unless we complained about the weather. Even 2011’s charmingly mild winter, has only made the inevitable freeze all the more hard to bear.
Not only do we have to shiver in the gales, but the bitter cold and frequent shifts in temperature causes havoc on our skin. With every beauty company promising a solution, how are we meant to separate the wheat from the chaff?
Dr Jules Nabet is most famed for his explorations into the ultimate holy grail, making women look younger. Ranked as one of the best practitioners in the world and co-author of the book “The Hormone Solution: Stay Younger Longer with Natural Hormone and Nutrition Therapies”, he has an outstanding international reputation.
What is less explored is his range of rejuvenating creams now stocked in The Soma Centre. These promise to improve the appearance of skin while providing essential protection. The ‘Zen Attitude Cream’ with Soya and Yam (natural Pyto enzymes) is blended with Vitamins F and E and delivered by the regulator Eleuthero to combat the visible signs of stress, environmental pollutants, unwanted toxins and temperature changes.
I put it to the test, trying it morning and night and found it to be luxurious, smooth and creamy. Nonetheless, my very dry skin would have preferred if it to be even thicker, to really feel like it was making a long lasting difference. Better applied in the daytime, it was not quite heavy enough for the night and the pricepoint was difficult to justify at £90. Although, I enjoyed its delicate scent, it was an added but not necessary bonus. A very pleasant product but unfortunately not revolutionary for me.
